Do I need a Visa to visit Fiji?

No Visa required for US Citizens with a valid passport.

A valid passport with an expiration at least 3 months longer than your planned date to leave Fiji is required to get a free tourist visa on arrival.  You will need to provide your passport and your return ticket out of Fiji and this tourist passport will be free.

The following countries are issued Visa on arrival-

What currency should I bring to Fiji?

In Fiji, the local currency is the Fiji Dollar. Visitors can conveniently exchange their currency at the airport or any ATM throughout Fiji. The current exchange rate stands at approximately 1 Fiji Dollar to 0.5 USD. It is worth noting that exchanging currency within Fiji typically offers a more favorable conversion rate compared to the United States. Moreover, USD is widely accepted in local airports and villages across Fiji, providing added flexibility to travelers.

What is the best way to fly to Tides Reach?

International flights to Fiji are primarily served by Fiji Airways, which also operates inter-island flights. Tickets can be booked directly online, through your travel agent, or via our preferred travel provider—contact us for details, whether you’re traveling individually or with a larger group. Direct flights to Nadi International Airport are available from Los Angeles (daily), San Francisco (seasonal, June 16 – August 14), Honolulu (twice weekly), Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Auckland, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Do you accommodate special diets?

We source fresh local produce from nearby farmers and our own organic vegetable garden. If you have specific dietary requirements, please contact us in advance so we can note your needs and prepare accordingly.

Do I need to take any medical precautions in Fiji?

Medical needs vary by traveler. We recommend consulting your physician 4–8 weeks before departure to discuss any vaccinations or precautions you may need.
